The BassJump by twelvesouth Rocks! (Review)

Introducing.. the BassJump:
A portable subwoofer for the MacBook that kicks out jams!
Listening to music on my MacBook Pro is a delight, but sometimes I wish I had more of a mid-range or thump for my music. If you’re like me and you wish that you could easily enhance your sound (wherever you’re at), then you might want to check out the BassJump by TwelveSouth.
Designed exclusively for MacBook, BassJump is a sweet, one-of-a-kind, go anywhere, USB-powered subwoofer that turns your MacBook into a mini sound system. One single USB cable delivers power and sound. Custom software blends the music coming out of your built-in speakers with the sound output of the BassJump for dramatically enhanced audio performance.
Last night I just purchased a BassJump from my local Apple store (in Los Gatos, CA) and since then, I’ve been rocking my MacBook speakers non-stop. The sound is great; don’t expect anything insane – but expect a reasonable improvement on your speakers. The BassJump really compliments the high level sounds by providing a little low range sound and some decent mid range enhancement. I also really like the software interface for the product, it’s smooth and I can adjust the sound on the fly – it’s not really needed often but it’s a nice enhancement.
This product definitely get’s the MichelBobrowski.com seal of approval – go buy it for your MacBook now from their site for only $79.99 (it’s a great deal):
